Long Live the Queen

In the morning, Antonia Joannides makes sure everything is running smoothly at her restaurant, The Queen's Room in Astoria; by lunchtime she’s pressing grilled cheeses and assembling grain bowls and by 5pm she’s shaking cocktails, just like this one.

Ingredients

  • Couple sprigs of dill
  • 1 slice cucumber
  • 1 1/2 ounces Hendricks Gin
  • 3/4 ounce Ancho Reyes Verde
  • 3/4 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 ounce jalapeño infused simple syrup

Preparation

Add all ingredients into shaker with ice. Shake vigorously (no need to muddle). Fine-strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with cucumber slices.
