Roots, Shoots, and Fruits: Celebrating Generations of Gardening

In less than two weeks, join NYC Parks GreenThumb as we celebrate our 35th annual GrowTogether Conference on Saturday, March 30th at CUNY Graduate Center. We will be kicking off the community gardening season in New York City with a day packed with workshops on garden-related topics such as vegetable growing techniques, composting, and beekeeping. Plus, activities for kids and adults, including a seed swap (bring your seeds to share!).

Registration and breakfast begins at 8:00 a.m., followed by the Opening Ceremony at 9:15 a.m., with workshops beginning at 10:30 a.m.. The theater where the Opening Ceremony will be held has a limited amount of space, please arrive early to guarantee a seat. If it reaches capacity, there will be overflow rooms available, including one with Spanish translation.
