KIMCHI 101
Kimchi is a healthy & delicious traditional Korean staple that can accompany any meal. It is naturally fermented and made using a variety of produce, with the addition of aromatics, salt and seasonings. In this class, we will make two types of kimchi -- the traditional spicy and a water kimchi. Participants will take part in each step of the process and learn that fermenting one's own foods can be quick and economical, makes use of excess produce, prevents food waste and allows easy access to healthy probiotics. Each participant brings home a small jar of each recipe that is made. (We will have jars, but encourage you to bring two of your own!)
