La Placita: Mercado de Nuestro Barrio-- A Celebration of Latinx Culture

La Placita Market and Festival is coming to Lowery Plaza! October 26-27, you will find a lineup of handmade crafts and goods, live music, activities and workshops led by local artists, a Halloween costume pageant, and more, all in celebration of Latinx heritage. Inspired by La Placita of San Juan, we are excited to celebrate various Latinx cultures though music, dance, crafts, and of course food! This two day event will feature live music from local Latinx artists, traditional dance performances from different countries, and food from our local vendors. Residents of Sunnyside are from a beautiful mix of Latinx countries and cultures, let’s celebrate the diversity of our neighborhood!
