Tam Mak Hoong (Lao Papaya Salad)

Ingredients

  • 1 raw papaya, shredded
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 2 teaspoons fish sauce (Jeannie recommends Squid brand)
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Fresh green chili, diced (to taste)
  • 1 clove garlic, smashed and chopped

Instructions

Combine all ingredients. Toss and serve.
