J.A. Strub is a writer, musician, and social activist, and a proud resident of Jackson Heights. By day, he works on a city-contracted team to prevent evictions in Queens. In his free time, J.A. can be found advocating for participatory democracy, getting to know his neighbors, and studying folkloric music from across the Americas. While he keeps a busy schedule, J.A. always does his best to make time for daily prayer and for sharing meals with friends and family.
