Our love affair with these golden little beans ("faba" in Latin) began when Jessica Gebel, our founder and natural foods chef, began experimenting with aquafaba for her plant-forward clients. When chickpeas are boiled, they release their superfood magic and the resulting water (aquafaba), can then be used as a dairy & egg replacer.
